Quality Engineer for Test

Predictive Monitor is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Quality Engineer for Test to join our team. This is an on-site position based at our Nashua, NH office. The successful candidate play a key role in verifying that our systems deliver exceptional value by identifying issues early, streamlining our testing processes, and maintaining a high bar for product excellence.
- Collaborating with software engineers, product managers, and stakeholders to deeply understand product requirements and technical specifications
- Designing and executing comprehensive test plans and test cases to verify functionality, usability, performance, and scalability
- Perform manual testing of test plans and test cases
- Write test automation to perform regression tests which includes developing, maintaining, and improving existing automated test scripts using modern testing frameworks and tools
- Conducting manual and automated testing to ensure full test coverage across system components and user workflows
- Performing regression testing to safeguard existing functionalities as new features are introduced
- Write test automation to perform load testing and performance to validate software behavior under real-world conditions
- Participating in Agile and Scrum ceremonies to contribute to sprint planning, estimation, and delivery timelines
- Identifying, logging, and prioritizing defects using standardized defect tracking tools
- Providing detailed documentation and reports on testing results, issue tracking, and quality metrics
- Contributing to the continuous improvement of internal testing standards, processes, and automation infrastructure
- Supporting risk mitigation efforts by proactively identifying areas of concern during test planning and execution
- Testing and validating AI/ML components, including data preprocessing pipelines, model outputs, and system integration to ensure accuracy, reliability, and explainability
- Collaborating with data scientists to define quality metrics for AI/ML models and validate predictive outputs in regulated environments
Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field
- At least 4 years of experience in software testing or QE engineering role, with a strong emphasis on automation
- Experience with testing tools such as Python, Selenium, Pytest, PyUnit, etc.
- Solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies
- Experience with CI/CD environments and integrating automated testing pipelines
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a keen eye for detail
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across functions
Preferred Experience
- Experience in the life sciences, biotech, or regulated environments
- Familiarity with monitoring systems, data logging platforms, or real-time analytics
- Exposure to testing tools like Selenium and Locust
