The ability to prevent equipment failure before it happens is powerful and having the peace of mind to secure your priceless products is transformative.

Laurie and John Masiello have lived and breathed the high-stress nature of storing biopharma products for 40 years, and they understand that any equipment failure is a stop-and-drop situation that requires an immediate solution.

The Masiellos founded Predictive Monitor to protect life-saving products destined for patients. Predictive Monitor’s debut product, OverShield, detects conditions that indicate eventual chamber failure. Early detection allows customers to predict equipment issues and protect their products.

We have extensive life sciences industry experience bringing forth new ideas and novel technologies, and we have a deep commitment to make a difference in the life sciences industry and in our local community.

Our Mission

At Predictive Monitor, our mission is to empower life sciences companies to improve patient lives by providing practical solutions to maximize equipment uptime, improve operational efficiency, and protect life-saving products.

How we got here

Innovating in the Life Sciences
Industry for 40 Years

Laurie and John Masiello begin Masy BioServices as a service provider.
The Masiellos officially incorporate the company, eventually expanding into a validation, calibration, equipment rentals, monitoring systems, and GMP storage business to support the life sciences industry.
Laurie and John receive ISO 9001 certification, and accreditation for ISO 17025 primary calibration the following year.
Validation customers begin asking if Laurie and John could store their products, which leads to the creation of Masy’s off-site cGMP storage business. Masy Systems becomes Masy BioServices.
Laurie and John win Mass Life Sciences Center Tax Incentive Award for their commitment to growth in Massachusetts. They also win in 2013, 2016, 2019, 2021.
John creates a revolutionary predictive monitoring tool that uses data from strategically placed sensors on refrigeration systems to identify potential malfunctions.
John and Laurie merge Masy BioServices with Alcami, a leading pharmaceutical and biotech contract development and manufacturing organization (CDMO) from North Carolina. The combined resources and capabilities provide enhanced support for customers.
The Masiellos break off to start Predictive Monitor LLC, embracing the research and best practices they developed in their 40 years leading Masy. Predictive Monitor launches its debut product, OverShield.
