HVAC-R Technician

• Collaborates with customers to assess and support HVAC-R system requirements in controlled environments, particularly within biotech and pharmaceutical facilities
• Assists in the interpretation of technical reports related to system performance, energy efficiency, and environmental conditions
• Supports the configuration and deployment of OverShield predictive systems and associated sensors
• Works alongside engineering teams to facilitate the integration of OverShield software with existing HVAC-R infrastructure
• Utilizes OverShield analytics and dashboards to identify system inefficiencies and recommend preventive maintenance measures
• Evaluates customer alerts during regular business hours, assisting with issue triage and basic troubleshooting
• Ensures all diagnostic equipment is properly prepared, maintained, and calibrated for field deployment
• Provides field-level insights to internal teams to inform product improvements and technical support strategies

• 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in HVAC-R system servicing and diagnostics
• Demonstrated ability to identify and troubleshoot key refrigeration components and system issues
• EPA 608 Universal Certification
• Strong communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with both internal teams and external customers
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
• Attention to detail, organization, and a commitment to delivering high-quality work
• Proficiency with standard HVAC-R tools and diagnostic equipment
• Familiarity with IoT-based monitoring or predictive maintenance technologies
